What is QTrace? 
QTrace provides food manufacturers, farms, and packhouses with an exciting new ability to share traceability and manufacturing information for food products. The intention is to create greater brand loyalty from end consumers, and to enhance customer and vendor confidence, whilst creating the opportunity for manufacturers to receive greater feedback from end chain consumers.
How does QTrace work?QTrace is simple, the customer or end consumer simply has to enter a 7 digit code onto our QTrace search page, and they will be presented with the details the manufacturer has chosen to share about the product. Each code relates to a specific batch of product, so the results can be specific for a know lot of goods or produce. The seven digit code consists of characters a-z generated by client software used by the manufacturer. Manufacturers are encouraged to print the QTrace code on each product manufactured, customers can then use their PC (or their mobile phone, whilst in the supermarket) to enter the QTrace code and receive details of the product. Can we integrate QTrace with other systems?QTrace can be integrated with business management systems (such as ProducePak Farm/Packhouse/Food Manufacturing solutions) to provide automatic sharing of the manufacturers chosen traceability information. What about privacy and security?QTrace shares only the information that the manufacturer chooses to share, and no privacy or security issues are caused by implementing the system.
